Watching
Three things I watched in the last three days that absolutely rocked:
1. Bubba Ho-Tep. Bruce Cambpell as Elvis in a nursing home (he switched places with an impersonator midway through his career..the impersonator died..) Now there’s an ancient Egyptian mummy demon thing sucking the souls of the nursing home residents and he has to do battle with it. Funny as hell.
2. Dimmu Borgir. Norweigan death metal band. Second time I’ve seen them. There were a lot of scary looking people at the show, speaking some non-English scary-sounding language. The band put on an excellent show, as always. Hardcore.
3. They Live. My roommate just bought the dvd…I’d been meaning to see this one for a while. John Carpenter directed it. Cheesey late 80’s awesome awesome aliens-among-us movie. The star was apparently a wrestler, so it’s gotta be good.
