What do you know, Deutschland?
Miriam, a friend of ours currently home in Germany, e-mailed me today. Her parents, (who visited Chicago something under a year ago), noticed me on tv and taped it. Some program about Chicago had a clip of me street performing last year. Miriam then digitally recorded the tv playing the clip, and sent it to me. SO..check out the new video folder in the pictures section to see me juggling on German television.
A friend of mine who recently moved to Chicago said she’d heard I was on tv, juggling in front of Wrigley Field. Since I don’t remember ever juggling there I assumed it either wasn’t me after all, or someone had simply misidentified the surroundings. Perhaps this is what she was talking about…
The person with me in the video is some random guy who came up, and happened to know how to juggle. Just performing alone is tiring, so I would always jump at the chance to hang out and juggle with someone else, even if it meant not really performing and therefore not getting tips. I had just taught him the trick you see in the clip.
