Fright II
Six Flags is intersted in hiring us for Fright Fest again.. We are currently in negotiations, which means that Brian comes over a lot to check his e-mail and correspond with the entertainment folks there.
We went to see Slayer on Friday. To be honest, it was a bit of a letdown. I mean, you go to see Slayer, you expect a SHOW.. I don’t even listen to them, but I was hyped by all the talk. Every hardcore person, everyone at all the hardcore shows we went to, was really excited for this. It was hot, long, and actually boring. It crossed the line into scary (not in a good way) after one song all about vengeance for 9/11…the audience started chanting USA, USA… We left pretty soon after that.
A week or so ago was my first experience getting randomly hit on in a bar…too bad it was a horribly drunk girl spouting crazy stuff about ‘auras’ and ‘energies.’ On the way home a car spun out in an intersection while we waited at a red light. Just about sums up that evening..
